Two Southern Medical Group internists are seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant with a dynamic personality to join our private practice in Tallahassee, FL, in an office/outpatient setting. We are looking for a provider who practices medicine with outstanding patient care and customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a board-certified PA or APRN delivering high quality, personalized care.

Responsibilities

Duties include performing patient assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, initiating treatment plans, and prescribing medications as deemed appropriate during follow up office visits. Provides health education emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional judgment and patient service skills

  • Produce timely record keeping including clear, concise notes

  • Graduation from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program

Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer - Cardiology & Vascular Surgery Division

The Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer will be tasked with developing and executing the strategic vision, and short and long-term business development plan of the Cardiology Division of Southern Medical Group, P.A., communicating the plan with all those involved, executing the business initiatives, and sustaining implementation efforts. Duties include translating the strategic plan for individuals across functions and business units, driving organizational change in forging new working relationships and synergies across the organization, and establishing greater transparency and accountability for all who are carrying out the company's strategy. In addition, the role is responsible for assessing whether strategic initiatives, at all levels of the organization, are in line with the company's vision, standards, and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze the market shares for change and production

  • Find important projects, ventures, potential targets, and other partnership opportunities

  • Ensure applicable metrics and performance pointers are established to measure progress

  • Identify and reduce strategic risks

  • Develop and facilitate short-term and long-term goals with the executive committee

  • Identify development issues that may affect the well-being of the company

  • Ensure execution of development projects according to the company's values and vision

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day business development operations and activities

  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, laws, and code of ethics

  • Oversee growth of the company

  • Maintain communication with executive officers, partners, and clients

Position Requirements

  • Master's degree in business-related discipline required, preferably in healthcare administration or business.

  • (Preferred) Minimum of 5 years' experience with an employment record of increasing responsibilities in strategic planning and business development, preferably in a large multi-disciplinary hospital or medical group.

  • Computer proficiency with ability to develop complex business plans using data to drive strategy is essential.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to establish open, respectful, and candid relationships, and exhibit a high degree of professional ethics.

  • Solid knowledge of healthcare industry standards, laws, and business drivers.

  • Proven business planning and management skills, capable of timely accomplishment of objectives with a focus on profit and loss.

  • Skilled at translating broad strategies into specific objectives and action plans, and problem-solving to ensure plan progress.
